2 Mr Shawn Huang Wei Zhong asked the Minister for Home Affairs with regard to crowd control during festive seasons (a) how does the Ministry use social media and other digital platforms to communicate real-time information to the public; (b) what specific safety measures are implemented to prevent incidents, such as stampedes, overcrowding, or other emergencies during festive gatherings; and (c) whether emergency services are prepared to respond to potential incidents during high-density events and what are the protocols in place to ensure rapid and effective responses.
