Prioritising Installation of Speed Limiters for Lighter Lorries and Lorries Used for Transporting Workers

41 Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang asked the Minister for Home Affairs whether the Ministry will consider (i) bringing forward the deadline for lighter lorries to be required to have speed limiters and (ii) prioritising lorries used to transport workers when it comes to the installation of speed limiters.

The Traffic Police and Land Transport Authority do not track which lorries are used for transporting workers.
