Criteria for Return of Child to Biological Family after Being Placed in Foster Care

39 Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang asked the Minister for Social and Family Development what are the criteria for the return of a child to his or her family after being placed in a place of safety or foster home.

Mr Masagos Zulkifli B M M: A child in alternative care will be returned to their family only after safety and risk concerns have been addressed through interventions and the family has shown positive progress towards reunification.
