Care and Protection Orders Applied for and Ordered by Youth Court

9 Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang asked the Minister for Social and Family Development for each year in the past five years, how many Care and Protection Orders have been applied for and ordered by the Youth Court respectively.

Mr Masagos Zulkifli B M M: Over the past five years, an annual average of about 175 Care and Protection Orders (CPOs) have been applied for and about 165 CPOs were ordered by the Youth Court.
