19 Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang asked the Minister for Health for each year in the past five years, what is the mean and median number of days that couples wait before getting their first appointment for assisted reproductive treatments at public hospitals.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: The wait time to the first appointment to consult a specialist for assisted reproductive treatment at public hospitals has come down over the last five years. In 2023, the median and mean wait times across the public hospitals were no more than seven and 12 days respectively.
