Vaccination Rate of Taxi and Private hire Vehicle Drivers

55 Ms Ng Ling Ling asked ask the Minister for Health whether the Ministry tracks the vaccination rate of taxi and private hire vehicle drivers and, if so, what is the vaccination rate.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: Since February 2021, we have progressively offered vaccinations to taxi and private hire vehicle drivers. As of 1 July, about 92% (48,846 of 53,268) active Private Hire Car and Taxi Drivers have been vaccinated with at least one dose of vaccine, of which 86% (46,054 of 53,268) have completed both doses.
