Use of Full NRIC Number in Government e-Services and Plans to Evaluate Security of These E-services

27 Ms Hazel Poa asked the Minister for Digital Development and Information (a) what are the e-services or transactions with the Government that rely on the user providing their NRIC number and NRIC date of issue; and (b) whether there are any plans to re-evaluate the security of these e-services in light of the recently reported case of unauthorised change of addresses for NRICs.
