Review of Performance of Singapore Football Teams at SEA Games 2023

34 Mr Don Wee asked the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth (a) whether any review on the performances of Singapore's football teams at the recent Southeast Asia Games 2023 has been conducted; and (b) if so, what are its findings and recommendations.

Mr Edwin Tong Chun Fai: We acknowledge the poor performance of our football team at this year's Southeast Asia Games. Everyone, including the team, is disappointed with the results and agree that they need to perform better.

The Football Association of Singapore has commissioned a panel to conduct a review of the team's performance and will share their findings and recommendations soon.
