4 Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang asked the Minister for National Development whether he can provide an update on the results of the public consultation on the ban of elephant ivory sale and display in Singapore.

Mr Lawrence Wong: The public consultation on the proposed domestic ivory ban was completed in December 2018. 99% of respondents supported the ban. NParks is evaluating the feedback and will announce the details of the ban soon.
