9 Mr Sharael Taha asked the Minister for Transport (a) whether the Ministry is exploring more opportunities to replace diesel powered harbour crafts and ferries with electric ferries; and (b) whether the Ministry has set a target for this conversion.

Mr S Iswaran: During the Ministry of Transport's Committee of Supply (COS) Debate in March 2023, we announced the plans for harbour craft operating in our port waters to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
