Rationale for GRIT Programme's Focus on Specific Sectors

93 Ms Eileen Chong Pei Shan asked the Minister for Manpower (a) what is the policy rationale for focusing the GRaduate Industry Traineeship (GRIT) Programme on the financial services, information and communication technology, manufacturing and wholesale trade sectors; and (b) what specific metrics will be used to measure the quality of the placements, beyond the completion of the traineeship, to ensure a high conversion rate to full-time employment.
