Plans to Recalibrate Streetside Parking Lots to Enhance Pedestrian Safety and Traffic Flow

57 Ms Joan Pereira asked the Minister for Transport whether there are plans to recalibrate the allocation of streetside parking lots to enhance pedestrian safety and improve traffic flow along roads.

Mr Chee Hong Tat: In consultation with the community and agencies such as the Housing and Development Board and the Urban Redevelopment Authority, the Land Transport Authority will continue to review roadside parking to support walking and cycling in the area. Over the last few years, we have done so at Havelock Road, Tiong Bahru and the Ang Mo Kio Street 31 Friendly Street.
