Number Placed on Various Quarantine Orders in Past Three Months and Number of Travellers Allowed to Serve Quarantine in Own Homes

86 Dr Lim Wee Kiak asked the Minister for Health (a) in the past three months, how many people were placed on Quarantine Order, Health Risk Warning and Health Risk Alert; and (b) among Singapore residents who travelled overseas and returned, how many have been allowed to serve Stay-Home Notice (SHN) in their own homes.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: In the past three months, over 179,000 persons were placed on Quarantine Order (QO). More than 106,000 were issued with Health Risk Warning (HRW) and about 111,000 persons were issued with Health Risk Alert (HRA). These protocols have been simplified and streamlined, with emphasis on personal responsibility, since 11 October 2021.

Among Singapore residents who travelled overseas and returned over the same time period, close to 14,000 of them had served their Stay-Home Notice in their own place of accommodation.
