Number of Singles Aged 50 and Above Living in HDB's 2-Room Flexi Flats

58 Mr Gan Thiam Poh asked the Minister for National Development how many of those who currently live in HDB’s 2-room flexi flats are single and aged (i) 50 to 60 and (ii) 61 and above respectively.

Mr Desmond Lee: As at end-July 2023, 8,597 residents, that is, flat owners and occupiers, living in HDB’s 2-room sold flats were single, that is, unmarried, divorced or widowed, and aged 50 to 60. The number for those aged 61 and above is 15,243.
