Measures to Enhance Protection against Fraudulent Bulk Order Scams Targeting Small Businesses

12 Mr Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim asked the Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs in light of recent large bulk order scams perpetrated upon hawkers and small retailers, what measures will the Ministry take to (i) enhance awareness of such scams (ii) strengthen the safeguards and verification mechanisms to protect hawkers and retailers from fraudulent bulk order scams and (iii) provide timely support and recourse for affected victims.
