ITE Students Benefitting from Public Service-ITE Internship Programme Since 2023

1 Mr Patrick Tay Teck Guan asked the Prime Minister and Minister for Finance (a) how many Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students have benefitted from the Public Service-ITE Internship Programme since its launch in 2023; and (b) whether the Public Service Division has plans to continue the programme.

Mr Chan Chun Sing (for the Prime Minister): The Public Service-ITE Internship Programme has, since 2023, benefited 284 Institute of Technical Education students in internships across 41 agencies. The feedback has been positive and the Public Service Division plans to continue this programme.
