Invocation of Sections 59(2) and 59(4) of CPF Act 1953 by Employers to Obtain Past Employment Information of Job Applicants

75 Mr Patrick Tay Teck Guan asked the Minister for Manpower for each year from 2018 to 2022, how many times have sections 59(2) and 59(4) of the CPF Act 1953 been invoked by employers who were then prospective employers in the public and private sectors to obtain past employment information of job applicants.

Dr Tan See Leng: From 2018 to 2022, sections 59(2) and 59(4) of the Central Provident Fund Act 1953 have not been invoked by prospective employers in the public and private sectors.
