Investigation into Individual who Allegedly Promulgated Deviant Teachings

123 Mr Muhamad Faisal Bin Abdul Manap asked the Minister for Home Affairs whether he can provide an update on the status of the investigation into an individual allegedly promulgating deviant teachings which MUIS had previously filed a Police report on.

Mr K Shanmugam: On 9 November 2020, the Straits Times reported the case of an individual who allegedly promulgated deviant teachings. Following internal investigations, MUIS lodged a police report. As Police investigations are ongoing, it is inappropriate to comment on the case at this point in time.
