6 Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang asked the Minister for Health (a) what are the percentage increases in prices in the past five years for tests for (i) chlamydia and gonorrhoea polymerase chain reaction (PCR) (ii) hepatitis A, B and C (iii) syphilis and (iv) human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) at public healthcare clinics and institutions; (b) whether there are plans to increase prices further; and (c) what are the considerations in setting prices of sexual health tests.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: The public healthcare institutions set and adjust their fees to reflect the underlying cost, before applying subsidies.
