30 Mr Alex Yeo asked the Minister for Social and Family Development in light of the impending deadline of 31 March 2026 (a) whether the Ministry can provide an update regarding the further extension of the waiver of the Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) Form 1 filing fee for Singaporeans beyond this date; and (b) if not, whether there are alternative plans to continue encouraging Singaporeans to execute their LPAs.
Mr Masagos Zulkifli B M M: We have no updates on a further extension of the waiver of the Lasting Powers of Attorney Form 1 filing fees. We encourage all citizens to make their LPAs as soon as possible, to take advantage of the waiver before it expires on 31 Mar 2026.
