29 Mr Leon Perera asked the Minister for National Development whether the Urban Redevelopment Authority has plans to expand the Landscaping for Urban Spaces and High-Rises (LUSH) programme to new areas or to expand the boundaries of the already identified areas.

Mr Desmond Lee: The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) introduced the Landscaping for Urban Spaces and High-Rises (LUSH) programme in 2009 to encourage developers to incorporate skyrise greenery within the built environment through a mix of planning requirements and incentives. Since 2014, the LUSH programme has been expanded to developments island-wide. URA is currently conducting a regular review of the programme and will share more details when ready.
