Evaluation, Proceeds and Costs of Pasar Malam Tenders

17 Mr Leong Mun Wai asked the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth in each year since 2018 (a) how many and what proportion of pasar malam tenders is the tender sum given a weightage higher than 50% in the tender evaluation process; (b) what is the total proceeds from pasar malam tenders; and (c) what has been the total costs incurred by People’s Association in these tenders.

Mr Edwin Tong Chun Fai: Pasar malams, also known as trade fairs, are organised by different entities. Each trade fair is different and different considerations go into the tender and other specifications of each fair. Consequently, the costs and proceeds would vary from trade fair to trade fair. ­­
