12 Mr Fadli Fawzi asked the Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs (a) from 2020 to 2024, how many applications for Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) and LTVP+ were rejected despite the marriages lasting at least three years; and (b) what percentage of these applicants have at least one Singaporean child.
Mr K Shanmugam: From 2020 to 2024, an annual average of about 600 Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) or LTVP+ applications from foreign spouses of Singapore citizens with at least three years of marriage were rejected. Of these applications, around 3% declared that they have at least one Singaporean child.
