Data on Queue Numbers of First-time BTO Applicants Who End Up Not Selecting Flats

16 Ms Hazel Poa asked the Minister for National Development for each HDB flat sales exercise since August 2023, what is the percentage of first-timer applicants who do not select a BTO flat among (i) applicants with a queue number larger than the available flat supply and (ii) applicants with a queue number smaller than the available flat supply, respectively.

Mr Desmond Lee: Since August 2023, the Housing and Development Board has completed flat bookings for four Build-To-Order (BTO) exercises. The respective proportions of first-timer (FT) applicants with queue numbers (a) larger than; and (b) smaller than the available flat supply, who did not select a flat when invited, are tabulated in Table 1 below.
