Data on Private Residential Properties Bought by Locals and Foreigners in Past Three Years

24 Mr Gan Thiam Poh asked the Minister for National Development (a) whether the Ministry has data on the total number and percentage of private residential properties that are bought by locals and foreigners respectively for each of the past three years; and (b) if so, what are they.

Mr Desmond Lee: The annual breakdowns by residential status of the number and percentage of private residential property purchases for 2019 to 1H2022 are provided in Table 1 below.
