13 Mr Leon Perera asked the Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) what is the level of financial savings or financial assets owned by Singaporean households and individuals in each of the past five years, broken down according to the (i) mean, (ii) median, (iii) 10th percentile and (iv) 90th percentile.

Mr Lim Hng Kiang: The aggregate level of financial assets owned by Singapore’s household sector⁶ in each of the past five years is provided in Table 1 below. Data on the amount of financial assets owned by households and individuals in the different income percentiles is not available.
