Appeal Cases to High Court after Employment Claims Tribunal Judgment

43 Mr Patrick Tay Teck Guan asked the Minister for Manpower for each year from 2021 to 2023, what is the number of cases that: (i) went on appeal to the High Court after the Employment Claims Tribunal judgment was given; and (ii) leave was not granted to appeal on the Employment Claims Tribunal judgment to the High Court.

Dr Tan See Leng: From January 2021 to November 2023, 74 appeals were filed with the Employment Claims Tribunals for leave or permission to appeal to the High Court. Leave or permission to appeal was allowed in four cases.
