Annual Publication of SAF's Carbon Emissions to Improve Transparency of Climate Transition Plans and Outreach Efforts to Improve Public Understanding

6 Ms He Ting Ru asked the Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence (a) whether the SAF will consider publishing its carbon emissions on a yearly basis to improve the transparency of its climate transition plans, while redacting and aggregating selected data for security purposes; and (b) if not, what other steps can be taken to help the public better understand its climate transition approach.

Mr Chan Chun Sing: The Ministry of Defence's carbon emissions are published in the GreenGov.SG report, which has been published annually by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) since 2023. The GreenGov.SG report may be found on the MSE website.
