Allocation of More Funds for Aesthetic Covered Linkways Near Founders' Memorial Area and Other Tourist Attractions

19 Mr Lim Biow Chuan asked the Minister for Transport whether the Land Transport Authority can allocate more funds for covered linkways near the Founders’ Memorial area and other tourist attractions so that such linkways can look aesthetically nicer and not be merely functional.

Mr Chee Hong Tat (for the Minister for Transport): There will be covered linkways provided within the Founders’ Memorial area, that link Gardens by The Bay, the Founders’ Memorial development and the Founders’ Memorial MRT station. These covered linkways will be designed to be functional and aesthetically appropriate to this area.
