The Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment (Dr Janil Puthucheary): Thank you, Mr Speaker, for the opportunity to clarify.

Sir, in my reply to Question No 1 through to Question No 5, and in the answer to the supplementary questions, I repeatedly referenced the point that producers of 80% of beverage containers registered under the scheme would see a price increase of three to four cents per container. I understand that on one occasion I said, "an increase of 3% to 4%". My apologies. This is incorrect. And all instances should state three to four cents per container. Thank you, Sir.
