The following statement was in the reply given by the Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment (Mr Desmond Tan) during Question Time at the Sitting of 5 April 2022:

The Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment (Mr Desmond Tan): There are approximately 13,000 households who have electricity accounts in arrears and 150,000 households who have water bills in arrears. Of these 150,000 households, about 1,200 have arrears of at least $250. I wish to make the following factual correction to my reply to the Parliamentary Question from Member Mr Gan Thiam Poh during the Parliament Sitting on 5 April 2022. My reply should read as follows:

The Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment (Mr Desmond Tan): There are approximately 130,000 households which have electricity accounts in arrears and 150,000 households who have water bills in arrears. Of these 150,000 households, about 1,200 have arrears of at least $250.
