Update on Implementation of Orchard Road Pedestrian Plans and Target Date of Completion

33 Mr Fadli Fawzi asked the Minister for National Development (a) what is the status of the plan announced in 2022 to pedestrianise a 500m stretch of Orchard Road between Buyong Road and Handy Road; and (b) when is the target date for completion.

Mr Chee Hong Tat: The pedestrianisation of Orchard Road between Buyong Road and Handy Road is in its design phase and the completion timeline will be announced when ready.
