Trend of Increased Container Volume, Off-schedule Vessel Arrivals and Tuas Port's Measures to Better Manage Congestion

69 Mr Liang Eng Hwa asked the Minister for Transport (a) whether the increased container volume in first five months of 2024 will continue into the rest of the year and beyond; (b) how many of the container vessel arrivals at Singapore’s ports are off-schedule; and (c) how can Tuas Port better manage vessel-bunching and minimise port congestion.
