Transfer of Patient Health Records from National Healthcare Group to SingHealth Group Entities

42 Ms Denise Phua Lay Peng asked the Minister for Health whether there is a seamless transfer of patients and their health records from the National Healthcare Group hospitals to SingHealth Group entities such as the National Cancer Centre.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) have put in place protocols and processes to ensure patient safety and continuity of care when patients are transferred across clusters. Medical information, including the patient's condition and the treatments rendered prior to the transfer are documented and provided to the receiving PHI.
