85 Mr Patrick Tay Teck Guan asked the Minister for Education (a) whether school principals and vice-principals attend leadership training or management programmes to enhance their ability to support the well-being and career development of school teachers, educators, and staff; and (b) if not, whether the Ministry will consider providing them with access to such structured learning and training resources.

Mr Desmond Lee: The well-being and career development of our teachers, educators and staff are a key priority for the Ministry of Education (MOE). MOE has put in place programmes and platforms to enable our Principals and Vice-Principals to support their teachers' well-being and career development.

Structured leadership programmes, like the two-year Vice-Principal Learning Series and the seven-month full-time Leaders in Education Programme, cover Human Resource matters, such as professional and career development, flexible work arrangements and staff well-being.

MOE also curates leadership executive programmes to support the continual development of our experienced Principals and Vice-Principals. This includes providing our school leaders with coaching skillsets so that they can support their teachers' professional and personal growth and well-being.
