Ministry of TransportSpeakers
Transcript
36 Ms He Ting Ru asked the Acting Minister for Transport (a) whether the Ministry tracks the number of passengers who are unable to board the first and second trains during peak hours; and (b) if so, whether the Ministry will release this data for the North-East Line.
Mr Jeffrey Siow: The Land Transport Authority tracks such passengers via regular surveys. In general, less than 2% of commuters were unable to board the first or second train along the busiest sections of the North-East Line, incurring less than four minutes of additional waiting time.
