Tracking Buildings and Facilities to Keep Indoor Temperatures at 25 Degrees Celsius

4 Ms See Jinli Jean asked the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment (a) whether the Ministry tracks the number of buildings and facilities that commit to keeping indoor temperatures at 25 degrees Celsius; and (b) how does the Ministry plan to encourage collective action by individuals and organisations to address Singapore’s urban heat island effect.

Ms Grace Fu Hai Yien: The Government does not track the indoor temperature settings of buildings and facilities in Singapore.
