82 Miss Rachel Ong asked the Minister for National Development on HDB's proposed development for Gillman Barracks (a) what is the summary of stakeholder engagement over the past years; and (b) which aspects of the proposal remain open to revision under the ongoing feedback exercise.

83 Miss Rachel Ong asked the Minister for National Development given HDB's Environmental Impact Assessment for Gillman Barracks assessed residual impacts on fauna habitat and food source loss as remaining up to "Major Negative", with residual ecological connectivity impacts remaining even after mitigation (a) what criteria were used to determine that these residual impacts were acceptable to proceed with redevelopment; and (b) whether any further avoidance or minimisation measures are being considered.

84 Mr Christopher de Souza asked the Minister for National Development (a) what lessons from Dover Forest will be applied at Maju Forest to better preserve ecological connectivity and biodiversity; and (b) whether the Ministry will consider enhancing safeguards to minimise harm to native flora and critically endangered fauna at this early stage of planning.

85 Ms Lee Hui Ying asked the Minister for National Development in view of the announcement on Maju Forest (a) what expert advice informed the shape and boundaries of the preserved lots of Maju Forest; (b) whether alternative sites have been considered; and (c) what measures will be taken to ensure that the remaining forest remains ecologically sustainable in the long term.
