Review of Cost-bearing Responsibility for Hawkers to Provide Affordable Meals for Low-income Patrons

21 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment (a) what are the principles that currently guide who should bear the cost of providing affordable, nutritious meals to low-income patrons; and (b) whether the Ministry will review the current distribution of responsibility to prevent it from disproportionately falling on hawkers.
