Reasons for GovTech Retrenchments, Retraining and Redeployment of Affected Employees and Vacancy Consideration across Public Service before Retrenchment

34 Mr Christopher de Souza asked the Minister for Digital Development and Information (a) whether the Ministry has information on (i) the reasons necessitating the retrenchments at GovTech (ii) the number of affected GovTech employees who were successfully retrained or redeployed and (iii) whether all suitable vacancies within GovTech and the wider public service were considered before employees were retrenched; and (b) if so, what are the details thereof.
