Reason for Continued Train Disruptions on North-South and East-West Lines Despite Upgrades

71 Miss Rachel Ong asked the Acting Minister for Transport (a) why despite upgrades to the North-South and East-West Lines (NSEWL) since 2015, there has continued to be disruptions in MRT services on these lines over 2024 and 2025; (b) how many of such disruptions are caused by parts that have already been upgraded; and (c) whether the recent disruptions affect the continued upgrading plans for the NSEWL.
