Publishing Updated 2015 Occasional Paper on Income Growth, Inequality and Mobility Trends in Singapore

5 Mr Shawn Loh asked the Prime Minister and Minister for Finance (a) whether the Ministry will consider updating its 2015 Occasional Paper on Income Growth, Inequality, and Mobility Trends in Singapore; and (b) whether the updated paper can also provide insights on the state of wealth inequality in Singapore and its trends.

Mr Jeffrey Siow: The Government has plans to update the Occasional Paper. We are working on improving our data collection on wealth and will share the findings when it is ready.
