Proposal to Establish Master Database of Commercial Sublet Agreements

19 Mr Kenneth Tiong Boon Kiat asked the Minister for National Development (a) whether the Ministry will consider establishing a master database of all commercial sublet agreements; and (b) whether the Ministry will mandate lodging of sublet agreements with HDB as a condition for tenancies, to enable evidence-based policy-making on business costs instead of relying on anecdotal feedback.
