137 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment (a) whether the Ministry has assessed if the current blue bin infrastructure discourages recycling; (b) whether the capacity and clearance frequencies of existing blue recycling bins will be increased to resolve persistent issues of overflowing and contamination; and (c) whether the Ministry has considered introducing a nationwide use of source-segregated recycling bins to replace the blue recycling bins.
