82 Dr Wan Rizal asked the Acting Minister for Manpower over the last five years, what is the proportion of workers aged 51 and above who remain employed after completing the (i) Career Conversion Programme and (ii) Mid-Careers Pathways Programme, respectively.
Ms Jasmin Lau: Over the last five years, close to nine in 10 Career Conversion Programme participants aged 51 and above remained employed 24 months after embarking on the programme.
The Mid-Careers Pathways Programme (MCPP) is a full-time attachment programme designed to help mid-career individuals gain industry-relevant experience and demonstrate their capabilities to prospective employers. Since its launch in April 2022, more than six in 10 MCPP participants aged 51 and above successfully found employment within six months after completing or exiting the programme.
