Projected Increase in Chronic Disease Caseloads for GP CHAS Clinics Due To Additional Conditions Covered and Measures to Meet Additional Manpower Requirements

131 Mr Dennis Tan Lip Fong asked the Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Minister for Health (a) whether there will be a projected increase in chronic disease caseloads for general practitioner (GP) CHAS clinics arising from the additional conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme; (b) if so, what increase in GPs, nurses and care coordinators headcount is projected for the next five years; and (c) how the Ministry intends to meet these manpower requirements.
