Procurement and Deployment of Active Mobility Enforcement Cameras, and Data on Fines Issued under Enhanced Regulations

55 Mr Ng Shi Xuan asked the Minister for Transport (a) for the procurement schedule of active mobility enforcement cameras, both mobile and permanent, to support enforcement of the enhanced active mobility regulations; and (b) what is the number of fines that have been issued under the enhanced active mobility regulations since 1 June 2026.

Mr Jeffrey Siow: The Land Transport Authority (LTA) currently deploys 60 active mobility enforcement cameras islandwide, with plans to expand over the next few years.

Under the enhanced active mobility regulations, LTA has caught 21 users for the offence of keeping a non-UL2272 certified e-scooter and six users for Personal Mobility Aid-related offences.
