45 Mr Ng Shi Xuan asked the Acting Minister for Transport (a) what is the anticipated processing time for applications to convert licensed trailer lots to licensed heavy vehicle (HV) lots; (b) whether such applications can be expedited; and (c) how many HV lots can each trailer lot possibly yield.
Mr Jeffrey Siow: Applications are processed in three to five working days after the complete submission of required documents.
The conversion of a trailer lot to a heavy vehicle (HV) lot depends on the configuration of the parking lot and heavy vehicle park. Typically, one licensed trailer lot can be converted to one HV lot.
