Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme Occupancy and Take-up Rate of PPHS (Open Market) Voucher

43 Mr Melvin Yong Yik Chye asked the Minister for National Development (a) what is the current occupancy rate for HDB flats on the Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme (PPHS); and (b) what is the take-up rate of the PPHS (Open Market) Voucher since it was officially launched on 1 July 2024.

Mr Desmond Lee: The occupancy rate for Housing and Development Board (HDB) flats available for rent under the Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme (PPHS) is around 90%. The remaining flats are available for selection in the ongoing August 2024 PPHS application exercise.

As of 30 July 2024, HDB has received 90 applications for the PPHS (Open Market) Voucher.
