Number of Patient-days of Medical Oxygen Supplies Currently Available and Singapore's Oxygen Manufacturing Capacity

52 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Minister for Health (a) how many patient-days of medical oxygen supplies are available for patients who require oxygen supplementation because of COVID-19 or other diseases; and (b) whether Singapore has sufficient oxygen manufacturing capacity to replenish our local supply should the number of COVID-19 cases increase rapidly as the economy reopens.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: We currently have about 6,000 patient-days of medical oxygen supplies. This supply could be replenished in a day, if required.
